Grounds were kept exceptionally clean, breakfast was delicious. This was a well-maintained and high quality hotel with a central location in a green valley...

The serene setting in a lovely area was fantastic, with a nice restaurant, a market and a small supermarket conveniently nearby.

Everything was fine, the room very cleaned, theconnection in the room working perfectly, the breakfast so rich, the parking in front to the hotel, the price very convenient, the staff so much available and polite, I travel a lot and I would like to find everytime an hotel like this.

The best thing was the sauna. I did not use the steamroom as it was never working. Adequate gym. Booked the superior room which was much larger than a standard room (which was the size of a matchbox). Friendly and efficient reception staff. Nice bistro atmosphere and good food resonable prices.

Had to ask for tea and coffee in the room as not automatically put there but there was no problem getting it so this isn't a complaint. It would be nice to have it there automaticlly without having to ask. Not much written information for tourists in the hotel and very little information in English.

Room was too hot, over 26 Celsius. Heating was on, although outside temperature was about 19C. Not possible to close warm water supply to radiator. Hotel staff gave non-relevant excuse: room is hot because people use hot water in neghbouring rooms, promised to bring "air conditioner", brought simple blower/ventilator.

The hotel advertises a gym, but the gym is open only from 5pm to 11pm -- 6 hrs. per day. The description at Booked.net does not mention that the gym operates only during these hours. It is very misleading to advertise a gym but then have the gym be closed for most of the day including the morning.

The room was well-equipped with central heating, a TV, and a writing desk, and the breakfast offered a delicious variety of items like bread, granola.

Very small and hot room (no a/c - it's a 4-star hotel!), the window opens the wrong way. The whole thing seems to have been designed by idiots with no functionality in mind. May not be bad for a single person, but certainly terrible for two people sharing a room. And no a/c?!.. I can't even imagine what it's like in the summer. The elevator closest to the room is too small to accommodate a luggage cart.

Enough parking free space, easy to reach location, good breakfast, not to far from Dusseldorf

The breakfast had all the fancy stuff like smoked salmon and caviar, and the underfloor heating in the bathroom made me feel posh. Perfect location for me, very friendly staff, and the hotel was clean.

Feathery pillows that can't even make a cushion, limited lighting, and the chilly room with an open window certainly added a touch of adventure to my stay.

Everything ok, I only thought the business room was a little bigger, but anyway...breakfast ok and dinner very ok.

Hotel is very hot and there is no air conditioning. We had the basic room and found the temperature was a big issue here. It was cooler outside than it was in the room itself.

had a great stay at wyndham garden! weekend deal for 59,- eur incl. delicious breakfast, friendly staff, and convenient location close to düsseldorf. clean rooms & easy check-in/out. exceeded expectations compared to previous visit in mettmann.
